Undergraduate & Graduate Students Openings

Undergraduate and graduate positions are available. I am currently looking for two PhD students in Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Condensed Matter Physics, or similar. Potential research topics include quantum materials for thermoelectric materials, energy storage devices, photovoltaics, and photocatalyst. Dr. Carroll-Pöhls can supervise students in Chemistry and Physics.

Qualifications:

• A master’s degree in applied science (Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science) and engineering
• Advanced understanding of materials chemistry and physical properties
• Strong English communication skills in writing and speaking.

Strongly recommended but not required.

• Computational background
• Experimental background in materials synthesis and characterization
• Advanced knowledge of electrical and thermal properties
